Opening
When I open your skin
I open your soul.
I let your blood run
Unconstrainded by the flesh.
I open your envelope
And read the letters lying therein.
The passionate, pulsing red-purple prose
Written just for me.
As I enter you
With my sharp, sure blade
I find no part of you that is not mine.
No barriers can keep me from your heart.
The last has been breached
And lain aside.
I am in you, inside you,
Past all defenses and living,
Breathing, wet, warm,
Beneath your cover.
You have taken me in.
